but the most pity thing is due to slowness, didnt manage to book a bigger chalet at a cheaper price, so cant invite alot to the party.. Some bigger grps like kallang, cchband etc i miss out this time. I'm really really sorry, treat ya all drinks next time yah?

Took leave today, pack my bag, prepare stuff, went for scholarship videoshoot den meet benimaru for dinner. 3 letters + light sticks, my accompaniment for COR'08

Board the ferry at 8am, you yi dian bu she de, but also very excited for the trip. Reaching karimun, we checked in, played some ice-breaking games, den off to some bird nest farm n the orphanage. I'm so so impressed by one of the boy there. He actually speaks english quite well, and gave a speech to us. N guess wat? He learn english himself. Reading the dictionary himself everyday! Imagine one who know nothing bout english n jus purely learn thru dictionary. N he aspires to be a teacher next time, teaching english to karimun kids and go overseas. I think those who giv up due to small problem shld b ashame of himself/herself, and learn something from him. Anw, next was dinner at someone hse, and in fact we had all our lunch n dinner there. Quite a nice family.

Okay, was supposed to wake up at 530 local time, which is 630am singapore time. (Karimun is 1hr slower then singapore) But me blur blur, change the timing for watch but not hp.. so i woke up 530singapore time, which is only 430 local time!! luckily realise on time, n went back to slp again. Reach campsite at 7am, pitched tents, my sleepin buddies r xinyi, cmy n nicole. Activities later are river crossing, and standard obstacle course. Sounds like army huh. haha.. oh yah, the toilet is jus super disgusting. Despite the hot weather, i still insisted in nt drinking too much water. HAHA, need to bear for just one day. At night is make ur own dinner using metal tins, campfire n night walk. Ok, im damn scared initially, only in pairs with ur partner and one 1 candle. N the best thing is i dunno how to use matchstick. So im jus protecting the candle like with all my life, even wax drip onto my hand i also dun care, jus walk straight all the way. Sense of relieved and accomplishment after the walk =)

Off to trekking to mountain jantan! 1st trekking experience, superb! Super like the feeling, n the sense of accomplishment when u reach the summit though the summit is nt wad i expected. And Thanks ryan for helping my partner all the way! haha.

BEACH GAMES! okay, the game was super fun. But our poor CGL cmy has to sacrifice being tau pok to help us earn some bonus points, and in the end still stabo by our own grp with water bombs. oops =x its jus our unique way of saying thks. haha.. Next were visit to fishing village, some granite quarry but its quite boring, cos jus reach there see see den go already

Last day, also the so called shopping day. But seriously totally nothing, its worse than any place in singapore. Next was visit to a well known Buddhist temple, im amazed by how beautiful it is, the goddess statue is so beautiful, compared to those in Singapore. N tht's also the so called 30mins free time for us =x N its home sweet home after tht with all the post COR syndrome

I'm back from karimun! BUT im having post-COR syndrome.. I miss the fun, the laughter, the entertainment for my grp, ooh i miss them so much.

someone said i v long nv blog le.. yah, been sometime nv update le.. esp working so hard everyday, reaching hm will b bathe eat watch tv n sleep haha.. but firstly, going to start with something im soooooo excited about!! today, sph called n said i got the scholarship!! Cant believe i pass through the interview, esp when i see the stack of list of ppl interviewing.. The success other den being myself, my parents.. of cos hav to thank this special someone of mine, mr benimaru, who spares time for me during exam time to help me prepare for the interview. Thanks!!
But really nt so easy get the scholarship sia, now still gotta think of para how my parents motivate me in as a person, in terms of values or lessons learnt (not really on the academics side). hmmm...
anw, recent updates wld be shopping, shopping, n mostly shopping. becos its GSS time! haha.. okay, other den tht wld b finishing my hearing impaired level 2 lesson, but results still pending.. prays.. had my 1st yoga lesoon.. haha.. n aches everywhere the next day.. n a sat spent, wanted to KAYAK, but it seems like all e kayak shops in singapore has closed down. Went to sentosa one, no more.. den to east coast also no more.. shall hunt more kayaking places..
Lastly, going for my COR trip, karimun island this sat. Looking forward to more adventurous and exotic stuff haha, will update on tht again when i come back next wed =)
